Pikes Peak Robotics aims to bring low/no cost, innovative robotics programs and competitions to the Pikes Peak region of Colorado.
About Us
Pikes Peak Robotics emerged from the idea to bring fun, innovative, low/no cost robotics to all middle school and high school students of the Pikes Peak region of Colorado (El Paso, Pueblo, Fremont and Teller counties). Our focus is to develop leading edge, intuitive, and equitable competitions that will keep participants involved and challenged.Â
Our organization has grown to the point where we can now realize the ideas that we set out to do initially. We're happy to say that that we now envelop an offering of robotic events that span the domains of land, sea, and air.Â
Land
In the 2024-25 VEX VRC Season, we will be hosting monthly middle and high school league events that are open to the public and qualify teams for the Colorado state championship and, ultimately, VEX Worlds. Click on the link below to learn more about the VEX v5 VRC 2024-25 "High Stakes".Â
Sea
With our partners at RoboNation we are excited to announce that we will soon be taking a dive into water based robotics with their SeaPerch and SeaGlide platforms.Â
Air
In the 2024-25 season, we will be hosting monthly middle and high school blended aerial drone events right alongside our Vex VRC offering. These echo the same openness competitive edge as the VEX VRC but are focused more on remote piloting and programming skills.
